Tzatziki Sauce


  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 oz fresh dill
  • 1 small cucumber

  • Salt and peper


Mise en Place

  1. Cut lemon into wedges so it is easy to squeeze
  2. Thinly slice the cucumber
  3. Roughly chop fresh dill
  4. Mince the garlic clove


  1. Add the 1/2 cup of greek yogurt to a small bowl.
  2. Squeeze lemon juice into the bowl and combine with the minced garlic and 1/4 oz fresh dill. Add salt and pepper and mix.
  3. Add the thinly sliced cucumbers and mix some more.

Other Comments

Works well with Mediterranean dishes or on it’s own with pita bread. The picture above shows the Tzatziki Sauce on top of a farro, chickpea and apple sausage skillet.
